This total price is All-Inclusive and there are No Hidden Fees. We will match the price of other local cremation providers should you find one offering a lower price. Simply bring a print out of their pricing and we will match it. For as little as $1,495.00* your loved one can be cremated in our good loving care.
The following charges with the exception of the funeral home service charge and Crematory charge are required by the State of Vermont. These fees for permits are not retained by the funeral home but are the direct cost of such permits. We make it convenient for the family to pay one sum instead of writing various small checks for these necessary items.

*Please note our prices are discounted cash prices. Personal checks for payment are preferred and considered cash. However a 3% transaction fee applies for the use of credit cards for payment. Visa, Mastercard, Discover and
American Express are accepted.
Cremation Container: Our package includes a rigid cardboard box cremation container.
Urn: Our Signature Solid Brass "Going Home" urn is also included and is pictured on our urn selection page. You have the option of providing your own family urn and we will transfer the cremains for you. Matching token and keepsake "Going Home" urns are available for purchase. There is no credit issued if you do not wish to receive our "Going Home" urn.
Transportation: The pricing above for your county includes all in-state transportation from the place of death to our crematory in Fairfax.
Forms: Filing of social security forms is also included in our package.
Obituary Notices: We will provide the assistance needed to help you prepare your notice and send it to the newspaper of your choice. You will be responsible for the publishing fee. Each newspaper has a different pricing system. Fees are typically based upon how lengthy your notice is and whether you submit a photo to appear with the notice. Many families choose to pay for a short notice in the newspaper and link to a full notice on the website. This can offer significant savings.
Website Life Tribute Placement: If you wish, we will place your written notice on our online guestbook at no charge. You may also upload an unlimited number of photos. This life tribute to your loved one will be permanently located on our parent company website at www.awrichfuneralhomes.com. Friends and family may leave condolences and share stories. Your tribute may also be shared to your Facebook or Twitter account. This tribute is a beautiful place to keep your memories alive.
